It would be nice if we could all help out in some way or another for the victims of the bush fires. My family will help out with what we can financially but will be also forwarding clothing that we can do without.

If you cant help money wise, I'm sure most of us have clothes we no longer need, so lets send them along or contribute in some way. Check out http://www.redcross.org.au  for more info or email inquiries@redcross.org.au.

I just wanted to renew my moral support for all of you who are affected by these terrible fires. It is an awful loss in terms of lives, property and the displacement of people.

All I have to offer is my most sincere sympathy for those who have lost their homes and especially those who have lost their loved ones. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this very trying time.

Thanks Aegle...we are still in the grip of fire with one of the major fires still burning out of control after 12 days. Luckily the smoke haze has shifted and we can breathe easier.

We appreciate all your support as most Australians have banded together to help out their Victorian counterparts.

The death toll is now 208 as of last night with a firefighter losing his life on the weekend, with many others injured. We owe so much to so few
